FREE MICRO-FICTION & RUNNING ZINE PDFS

“On the lawn, between the fencing and among the bougainvillea he sits and in his head there’s a Japanese dragon swirling and looping above the endless lights of Tokyo’s gigantic conurbation. He sits and and he’s thinking about what it would be like to be enveloped in that warm, dark blanket of night, with a dragon swirling through the air above”

Here’s some free literature I’ve written. You can download it as a PDF, for no cost whatsoever.

I give away my Between 6 & 16 Miles running zine PDF for free, too. If you want a hard copy (that includes the art), you can order that here. The zine is usually about running, but not always. I live near the Peak District and it features heavily in my creative process and outlook and the fanzine is a way of focusing some of that creativity into one place.

The short fiction is generally about working class people and about their imaginations and the places in which they exist. I’m a self-taught artist and a self-taught writer from a working class background and writing about these things seems to me to be very natural and enjoyable.

Maybe one day I’ll collect the micro fiction pieces into a single volume and design and print it all up into something worth paying for.

I don’t use AI.
