Psychogeography about running in the Peak District, from High Bradfield to Hurkling Edge to the Moors & down to Agden.

Psychogeography about running in the Peak District, from High Bradfield to Hurkling Edge to the Moors & down to Agden.
Running zine based in the Peak District, about running from High Bradfield, Hurkling Edge, over the moors & back. Written as a kind of psychogeograpic topography & expression of weird running culture. There are 3000-odd words of nature writing & daydreaming aloud about photography & art & fragments of Marshall McLuhan.
Its a map of the route, too.
Free PDF (with no art) above. The hardcopy will be along soon, and includes hand-painted art and beautiful design and print stock.

“The haul up to the moors is long and steady. A few smooth clouds are beginning to lift away from the hilltops and they look like beach pebbles, UFOs and gunsmoke. From the dark depths of the valley behind, a long trail stretches ahead into the distance like a tongue, sunlit gold and many miles long. Crumbling walls like old, useless teeth grow from it’s sides and the wind’s biting breath blasts ice across my back.”
