I run over Redmires quite often in the summer. Its close to where I live, its easy to find somewhere to swim in the heat and you can run from there up to Stanage Edge fairly easily. For this piece, I wanted to capture the dreamy heat that fills hot evenings and the psychedelia that comes from looking at complex natural structures (or “plants” as they’re sometimes known…) for too long.

I think it was around the time that I wrote this.

This is an A2 print. The print is on Innova High White fine art cotton stock by Untitled Print. It’ll last 100 years if its stored well (under glass, out of direct sunlight etc.). Archival quality.
